Pouting

Hershey and Tess have been laying in the back of the Viking
pouting since the millet got done a week ago.
Here they are waiting patiently for me to give
Molly and Jack a break in their schooling
so they can go for a ride.
Billy lays with them while it is parked
but always jumps out when it is time to move.

Cutting the Millet

It's a tough decision to make!
It's so horribly wet.
But it needs cut.
So Ben is taking a chance.

The boys are discussing if they should get the bigger tractor.

Hershey and Tess never miss a chance to go for a ride.

The ruts are deep
but there's not a whole lot that can be done about it.

A Few Bales

The boys had a little bit of hay laying down
and rain was threatening
so they hurried to get it up
before the rain came.
But it never came.
Oh well.

The front bale isn't suppose to be that ugly!
Ben ran out of net wrap.
Paul took Hershey and Tess out with him to pick up a couple of bales.
They LOVE getting rides!

Ben took a partial bale out to the cows and calves.
They were very appreciative.

Baling

It's been hard this year to get decent hay with all the rain.
The boys are loading the goose neck after baling at the Industrial Park.
