Not My Idea

This was not my idea 

and I don't find it humorous.

See the green grass

I would much rather that it look like that ↑

than this ↓

But I wasn't asked.

So yesterday we got way too many inches of this stuff 

to cover the beautiful green grass.

Corn Stalks

 I think,

I'm not sure,

but I think,

we finished the corn stalk baling Saturday night.

I think we did 140.

We still have 50 wrapped ones 

and 30 unwrapped from the abundance of last year.

Time to park and go in for supper.

Fence Fixing

 Thursday was fencing fixing day.

Paul, Molly, and Jack worked hard.

It was also the day to take the rotten base off the old goat hut.

Then it was time to pull the broken or rotten posts from the front line of the old goat pasture.

Hannah and Molly pulled the broken posts out.

I just love the photo-bombing chicken picture!

Frost

It's been some chilly mornings lately.

You can't really see the frost,

but it was sure there yesterday morning.
