The Rainbow

We had a very light shower last night.

It ended with a double rainbow 

that started in our east pasture....

and ended out a the east end of our woods.

Endless Mud

Ben and the girls moved one of the feeders out of the mud yesterday.

Today was finally a drying day.

But we need many more like this to make much progress.

Another 1.25"

Since Monday we've had 3.73" of rain.

We had to move the chicken tractors 

to higher ground this afternoon.

The cattle, horses and goats are wallowing in mud.

The dogs are sad and the cats won't leave the barn.

And it's still suppose to rain for several more hours.

Drying Up

It's finally drying up enough to allow for some field work.

Some fence lines were opened

and some very happy cattle were allowed out on pasture.
