Waiting....

Waiting for parts can sometimes take forever.

But they got the clutch on.

They put the oil pan on.

And now.....

the wait continues......

A Surprise!

Ben noticed Beatrice acting funny during lunch.

(His lunch, not hers.)

So they moved all the cows up to the front pasture.

A couple of hours later there was a new little calf in the pasture.

We named her Zelda.

Ben and Hannah moved mama and baby to the barn.

 

She's about three weeks early
and is a tiny 58 pounds.

Lake Front Property

It was a windy 46* yesterday.

That did some major damage to the snow.

This is a common picture in the spring
but never before in February.

Water, water, everywhere water.

I got a cool lake front picture of the barn though!

Pig Pettin'

Our piggies might be a little spoiled.

Ben rubbed this guy's head until he totally relaxed and laid down.

Then he had to get up again for more scratching.

Chicks and Kids

The post office called at 6:22 yesterday morning.

Our chicks had arrived.

The fridges will have even more eggs in a few months.

Hazel had her kids this morning too!

Loretta and Leo.

They are also a tri-colored female and a black and white male...

just like Hilda's Kia

and Kato yesterday.
