Yesterday was a gorgeous day to work outside
before three days of rain.
We filled in around the chicken castle
where all of the ladies have been digging.
Mama hen took her chicks out on an exploration.
A couple of the cows had babysitting duty for a few hours.
There was one stubborn pile of snow
that wouldn't melt
because of all the silage blown on it.
Ben used the skid steer to move most of it.
Then they all raked up the mess.
Ben got the first mowing of the year done too.
And today it rains.
