April 14th!!
It made going out to check on the still pregnant cows
a little more interesting.
The chickens didn't follow me out
when I went to get water
like they usually do.
Ben, Hannah, Molly, and Jack went out in the loveliness
to get fresh bedding and hay for the cattle.
It looks like Scarlet had babysitting duty
on the new corn stalk pile.
Ben put a corn stalk bale inside too
but it had to be partially broken down by hand
and carried into the calves' pen.
The ground had a good start on thawing
before the snow came.
Boy, is this going to be a mess in a week or so!
